Development Network
PYDN is a youth-led, youth-centered non-profit organization based in the Philippines. Guided by its three core values: courage, creativity, and compassion, PYDN contributes to the country's overall development by partnering with government, nongovernment, businesses, and community-based organizations in implementing innovative programs with and for young people. Utilizing the Positive Youth Development Framework, PYDN is at the forefront of building a country-wide network of impact-driven youth organizations and circles of youth leaders that collectively work towards building a better Philippines for ALL. For PYDN, a better Philippines is a country where healthy and highly-engaged young people have the confidence to say – I belong, I am valued, and I am making a difference.

OUR GOALS

Build a multi-sectoral network of organizations, composed of individuals and organizations from local government, academe, civic societies, and private sectors for the promotion of the holistic development of the youth, by providing them with relevant training and other opportunities, thereby empowering and shaping them to be leaders in building healthier communities.

Create safe and youth-friendly spaces for the young people to have a voice and engage them in discussions with other youth and relevant stakeholders.

Process and share best practices into the development of guidelines and policy recommendations on youth-inclusive programming.

Support and harmonize youth-led campaigns.

Assist the government and the public in promoting the welfare of the youth.
